Writing Workshop

I went to a writing workshop with two girls from my class and the topic was about study strategies with exams and midterms. The Professor who thought the workshop was Tom Colby. The workshop focused on different techniques and clues to find ways to figure out the answer, without really trying. The steps that you can figure out is how they write the sentences if there are clue words in the sentence. Like if there is an “and” you know its more than one answer take are. Also, it what helps is when you re-read the sentence, and break it down step by step. Getting ready for a midterm or exam you have to have all your study material, and what you want to study for. Key things like as in vocabulary that will help you study more. If you have flashcards that will help you get organized with memorizing the definition. For true and false you have to you process of elimination. Figuring out which one does not fit with the question. If you know its wrong that is not the answer. Getting good grades on exams and midterms, which are the short answer part, true/false, and essay questions. Essay questions are the most important part on midterms and exams. The reason why they the most important are because they count for the most, and show you how much you can write.
